Project Management Methodology

At Advantage8 our Project Management team adhere to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) standards. Our project management methodology in practice comprising three key phases:

Analyse - Fundamentally analysis is about evaluating project goals, ensuring they are practicable & determining the best path to achieve them.

Plan - The project plan is developed to describe the criteria for a successful project, the activities associated with the project, including milestones, deliverables, reporting requirements, and the resources required to achieve the best possible outcomes. This phase must be agreed to by all stakeholders.

Execute - This refers to monitoring the project & achieving the goals identified during the planning phase, ensuring a successful project outcome. This includes maintaining control over where the project is & where it is headed.

These phases require two essentials resources:

People – Competent people provide the key to successful project management. This ultimately leads to the achievement of project success. People are as important in achieving project success as systems & strategies.

Systems – Project management systems are a critical requirement of any successful project. They enable efficient project analysis & planning, feasibility studies, risk management, time and resource management, project monitoring and reporting.
